The First African UNESCO Laureate, a renowned Nigerian scholar and Professor of Computer Science, Information & Communication Technology, Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu, has received an invitation to serve as a Keynote Speaker at the 9th International Conference on Applied Science, Engineering, and Technology (ISTASET-2026) in Dubai, UAE.
Delta Uhuru Media (News Online) learnt this from the VC CUICI, USA today being on Sunday, December 7, 2025 in a press statement made available to Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital by Prof Aremu’s Executive Assistant On Media, Publicity and Communication Matters, Comrade Sir Bieni Victor Emenike as he thanked leadership.
Prof Aremu in the release promises commitment to global quality education, commended development and his global recognition by the international conference committee leadership.
According to Prof Aremu, the conference as scheduled to hold on October 15-16, 2026, aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, and scholars to share experiences and research results in Applied Science, Engineering, and Technology.
In line with the invitation letter to UNESCO Laureate as signed by the ISTASET-2026 Conference Manager, Mr Noel Evans texts of the document reads in part: “Prof. Aremu, has garnered international recognition for his outstanding achievements in education, creativity, and intellectual innovation.
